"Life on a Thread" is a documentary directed by José Ricardo for RTP2, showcasing two realities in the world of puppetry. On one hand, a professional company with an international career – SAMarionetas – and on the other, a company that is just starting out and aspires to become professional – Manipulartes. It was filmed between 2015 and 2017, during which the director followed the company's life from the inside, filming rehearsals, creations, and tours.
