This puppet was built for volunteers at the IPO (Portuguese Oncology Institute) in Lisbon to use as a communication tool at the Associação Acreditar's shelter, which houses children undergoing cancer treatment. It intentionally wears a white coat like doctors do every day, but its blue hair and red nose give it a relaxed image. The character was named by the children who were at the shelter when we delivered it to Associação Acreditar – an association of parents and friends of children with cancer.
